Excellent platform!

Call Loop is fantastic! I used their SMS Marketing and Ringless Voicemail Software for a recent lead capture initiative, and it worked flawlessly. The Drip Campaigns feature was so easy to set up. I'm definitely going to shop here again for future campaigns. This platform made my job so much easier!

Good for SMS campaigns

I signed up for Call Loop to manage some SMS marketing for my small business. The signup process was pretty straightforward, and I got the 25 free messages which was helpful to test things out. I used the SMS Autoresponders feature. Setting up the campaign was intuitive enough, though the interface felt a little dated in some spots. Delivery of messages was quick, and the analytics dashboard gave decent insights. I also tried a voice reminder, which worked as advertised. Customer support responded to my email about CRM integrations within a few hours. Overall, it's a solid platform for basic SMS needs, but I haven't explored the more advanced features like MMS or short codes yet.

Annual plan savings were good

I was looking for a cost-effective solution for appointment reminders and found Call Loop. I chose the annual plan because it offered a significant discount compared to monthly billing. The price per SMS credit was competitive, and the starter plan discount made it even more appealing. I also used the 14-day free trial to make sure it fit my needs before committing. The savings felt substantial, which was a big factor in my decision. It's a practical choice for budget-conscious businesses.

Reliable as always

This is my third time using Call Loop, mostly for ringless voicemail campaigns. I've always found their service consistent. This order was no different. The platform handled the voice broadcasting smoothly, just like the previous times. I appreciate the reliability; it means I don't have to worry about campaign delivery. Their contact management features are still easy to use for importing lists. I keep coming back because it's predictable, and I know what to expect.

hey, trying to figure out the best way to get a discount. are there any active promo codes floating around, or is the 25 free messages and annual discount pretty much it?

D Dan 2 months ago
Yeah, usually it's the 25 free messages when you sign up. I haven't seen too many promo codes that work consistently, sometimes they'll have something for Black Friday or like a special partner offer.

I just went with the annual plan, saved me a good chunk. I think it was like 15-20% off compared to monthly. Worth it if you're planning to stick around.

I'm looking into the ringless voicemail feature. Is it really 'ringless'? Like, people's phones actually don't ring at all?

E Elena 2 months ago
Yep, it's genuinely ringless. My phone doesn't ring; I just get the notification that I have a new voicemail. It's kinda spooky at first, lol.

From my experience, it works exactly as advertised. The message just pops into their voicemail inbox without making their phone ring. It's a pretty neat trick for getting messages out there without being intrusive.

how long does it typically take to get a campaign up and running? like from signing up to actually sending out the first message, including any setup or approvals?

P Phil Kaur 1 month ago
If you already have your contact list and message drafted, you could probably send your first text within an hour or two. Ringless voicemail takes a little longer to record, but it's pretty quick too.

I found it pretty fast. Importing contacts was easy, and the campaign builder is intuitive. The main hold-up might be if you need any compliance checks for your specific message type, but generally, it's quick.

Are their SMS features TCPA compliant out of the box? Don't want to get into any legal trouble sending texts.

A Anna 2 months ago
They say they are. I've always made sure to only text people who have explicitly opted in, and used their opt-out tools. Never had an issue.

afaik, Call Loop themselves are TCPA compliant, but you, as the user, are responsible for making sure your practices follow the rules too. Like, don't just buy a list and start blasting.

Thinking of signing up, but I'm trying to compare it to SlickText. Anyone used both and have thoughts on which is better for a small business just starting with SMS marketing?

M Marcus F. 2 months ago
I've used both. Call Loop's interface felt a bit more straightforward for me when I was just getting started. SlickText has a ton of features, but it can be a bit much initially.

Honestly, for a small business, the pricing models are probably the biggest decider. Check out their credit costs and what features you actually NEED. I think Call Loop might be cheaper for lower volumes, but don't quote me on that.

Can I use my existing local business number for SMS with Call Loop, or do I have to get a new one through them?

E Emma 2 months ago
Nah, you can totally use a local number with them. I linked my office line up last year for texts, worked fine.

S Steve W. 2 months ago
They do offer local numbers too if you don't wanna use your main one, just something to keep in mind. I think it depends on your plan.
